I have know John Sherrard for the past 20+ years as both a family law attorney and a mediator. I regularly utilize Mr. Sherrard as a family law mediator, especially in high asset cases. His negotiation skills are top notch as well as his knowledge of the law. His drafting skills, which is part of what you are paying a mediator to do, is excellent as well. What I like best about Mr. Sherrard, is his overall patience and demeanor as we work through the issues of the case. He is calm and methodical through the mediation process. Sometimes, he will shelf a particularly thorny issue for later discussion, but doesn’t forget to revisit that issue if it is necessary. Many times those thorny issues have been resolved and there is no need to revisit them. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great mediator to consider using John Sherrard.
